Unexpected error when installing HWiNFO from Install tab

I tried to install HWiNFO using CTT version 26.08.19 and I get the following error message:

I just installed it using the installer from the software’s website and that worked that version is 8.50-6020 (non commercial) in case that makes any difference.

I was able to reproduce the same issue, and this is just a stale download link for the HWiNFO exe on winget. I fetched that URL myself and it also returns 404 (Not Found).

Nothing to change on your end. This will clear up once winget-pkgs is updated. In the meantime, installing directly from hwinfo.com (which you already did) is the reliable path, or choco install hwinfo (WinUtil’s Chocolatey source) if you’d rather stay inside WinUtil’s installer flow, since that uses a different upstream package.
