Issue: Screen brightness curve drops abruptly dark below 70%. In Hybrid mode, lower percentages goes to nearly pitch black.
Context:
I ran CTT WinUtil power/debloat tweaks and manually unhidden/enabled the Windows Ultimate Performance power scheme (which I later realized is designed for desktop PCs, not laptops). This seems to have stripped Lenovo’s native ACPI power rules and modified display registry hives (FeatureTestControl), breaking the PWM backlight voltage mapping for the panel.
Tried so far:
-Clean reinstalled official Lenovo OEM Intel VGA drivers.
-Set FeatureTestControl to ffff in Registry (Control\Class{4d36e968…}\0000).
-Executed powercfg -restoredefaultschemes to remove custom power plans and restarted Display Enhancement Service.
Looking for advice on restoring Lenovo OEM ACPI power tables or PWM duty cycle mapping without having to do a full OS reinstall.
Discord: mydrift: In control panel > power options u should be able to choose a power plan, can u check what that is set to rn and set it to balanced for testing?

Discord: mydrift: well if u reinstalled windows it is not really an issue that winutil or the os caused. can u check ur monitor settings?
