What’s Changed

I purchased the paid version today because I really appreciate the work behind this project and wanted to support the developer.

Unfortunately, I noticed that I cannot apply certain settings using the EXE version. For example, various tweaks such as disabling telemetry fail. The power options cannot be changed either.

Everything works without any issues in the free version via PowerShell. I am running the EXE as an administrator and have already tried disabling my antivirus, but none of it works.

If restore point fails it will stop and why you might be seeing some of this. I’m adding a few more checks in so if it does fail during setup but another restore point was created earlier it will continue.
Also I’m verifying any tweaks not being applied. Both winutil and this exe use the same tweaks.json.
I’m also going to add a feedback form that will submit data about your system to help any future issues like this.
